Carter BloodCare Blood Drive Live



Looking to reach out and appeal to high school students, Carter BloodCare engaged Propel to create a multi media campaign for their “Blood Drive Live” program using traditional and new media programs. Propel created striking and attention grabbing campaign print and interactive components that would appeal to the desired age group without compromising integrity of the message. Creating “VIP” passes instead of “Hall Passes” was just one of the ways Propel worked to make giving blood seem “cool.”

Social serves as a portal for all CBC social media activity. The organization’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts integrate in a two-way information flow: The social accounts promote blog posts, which in turn provide more in-depth content not possible in Facebook/Twitter’s limited space. Additionally, the site provides a great method to keep users and youth informed via email newsletters or text updates directly to their phones.
