The artist Xavier Zamarripa approached Propel Group with his idea for a new product design. After some collaboration on product enhancements, naming, and developing a complete identity and packaging system, we were charged with creating a quick and simple e-commerce website to show proof of concept by backing it up with proof of sales.
Propel created a sleek, simple new website design that showcases the three options for purchase. All photos utilized on the site were captured or created by Propel. In addition, Propel shot several videos featuring ease of assembly as well as live footage of numerous species of birds feeding at the Birdpods feeder and a family of bluebirds nesting in one of the Birdpods houses. Links to the videos and other social media were developed and included on the site.
After a successful launch and significant amount of web transactions, a giant wholesaler has picked up the remaining inventory and agreed to take it to market. You will soon be able to purchase your own at a retailer near you. Or better yet, go to birdpods.com now.
