The eternal “what if” guy, Darren Weirich is one of the two founding partners of Propel Group, Inc. Since launching the studio in 1996, he has been integral in acquiring and serving its diverse clients, including EDS, JCPenney, Texas Instruments, Greyhound, The Dallas Morning News, Lucent Technologies, USAA, Neiman Marcus and the Dallas Mavericks. Prior to co-founding Propel Group, Weirich was owner of o32 design, a graphic design studio. He has also held creative positions at the corporate in-house design department of VHA and the advertising/design firm of Robert A. Wilson Associates. While working towards his BFA at the University of North Texas, he was employed as a creative director at the University Union, working primarily on campus and university program promotions. He was also an art director at Fineline Graphics, a University-sponsored, student-run design studio. Weirich is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a BFA in Advertising Design. He is married, and has one child and a passion for classic cars and riding his motorcycle. His ultimate goal is to ride his motorcycle through all 50 states. 44 down, 6 to go.
